I'm wondering if these guys got caught by now. This was discovered 6 years ago, after all. I'm getting the feeling that either it was at least partially fake or at least impossible to get a handle on since the Internet reviewers would have got their hands on this and chewed it up by now.

Actually, looking it up without typing it as one word yields only results of a Happy Scooby-Doo for some reason. No kidding.


Seems that this might all be on Youtube... this search gives a nice long list...but I can't verify which is a ripoff of which. Can't read Thai...

Also of note, seems like there was an illegal bootlegged Doraemon movie made in Taiwan, which is strange since for the longest time China published unauthorized clones of Doraemon comics before the licensing company and Fujiko F Fujio stepped in and forced them to get a license for the official manga.
