People who are texting while driving, or even talking too much on their cell phone in the car (wireless or not) are endangering everyone else on the road. We need to stop being selfish and think about our surroundings.

I think people do bury themselves in technology a bit, because of stress and to get away from their worries for awhile. And I think that's fine. But again you can't make that into a license to behave recklessly.
*HEE* I may play warcraft for that reason but I would never do that while driving (not that I can drive with my legs, but if I could...:excited:)

I have no cell phone, so I don't text message at all! The only thing that I do to communicate with my friends and family is e-mail and the home phone. I figure if I miss a call when I'm gone, I can here the messages on the answering mashine. Why go to the exthreme, I think, when you can stay where you've been before cell phones were ever made and sold?

For me texting is not about being lazy. It's just easier to text sometimes than having to deal with people being stressed out or distracted, hehe. Plus it actually takes MORE effort to text each letter, lol.

But I agree, kids are using texting for cheating in school which is unexceptable. When I have kids I'll wait awhile before letting them have a cell phone. And even then, I'll make them earn it.

I know what u mean . about kids cheating in school , just another thing that is being abused , they should be eurning the grade .

Takeing the time to study or of they are having a problem in the subjecting that they are cheating in extra help or tudoring is not a bad thing .

Some kids want to make out that exra help is a bad thing and that is not the truth , i mean the etra tudoring after school in a subject .
