I mean come on people think the world is going to stop if they don't have a phone in there hand ethier texing or talking on a cell phone.
Yeah! I don't get it either.

I don't text, because I don't own a phone- lol! (I know that's weird coming from a teenage girl but hey- it's /me/) Don't want one, either.
If I had a phone, I don't think I would text, either. And if I had a phone, I don't think I would even use it very much either.

By the way, I do not fine it weird to not confine to "social norms"

I prefer texting, mostly because I'm not much of a talker. :stick_out_tongue:
But I can't find my phone today.

I hate texting with the passion of a thousand suns baking a thousand eggs on the sidewalk in the middle of a gorg tap dancing contest in July .
I agree. I hate text messaging and it's really stupid. How lazy are you if you can't dial someone's number on your cell phone?

Texting is also bad in schools, especially in high school where kids can just whip out their cell phones without caring. Which brings me to why they need a cell phone in the first place in school?

I hate to say this , but i love texting , i have seveal friends overseas , that is the way that we keep up is that way and messenger , and then e-mail .

The 4 friends that i have overseas for them at the moment it is cheaper to e-mail for them at the moment and text , i have a couple friends in the USA who want talk on the cell phone and and text to .

I just you can say that i do both .

When i am in a care traveling or something like that and i need to tell a friend something quick and i do not want talk on the phone , i just send a quick text .

If i had to pick between the two talking on the phone or texting e-mail or messnger i like talking on the phone the best .

I can understand from my friends point of the side that if it is cheaper to for me to text e-mail or messenger than i can undersand that anyway i know these girls well . I hope that makes sense .

For me texting is not about being lazy. It's just easier to text sometimes than having to deal with people being stressed out or distracted, hehe. Plus it actually takes MORE effort to text each letter, lol.

But I agree, kids are using texting for cheating in school which is unexceptable. When I have kids I'll wait awhile before letting them have a cell phone. And even then, I'll make them earn it.

That is funny. In those cases it it, but unfortunately, that''s how a lot of car crashes happen, people texting or on the phone and not concerntrating.

Figures. I swear people need to get their heads out of whatever it's burried in technology wise.

Speaking of technology, I hate it when I see people that are supposed to be exercising at the gym but wind up somehow on their cell phone. Get off the bloody thing and start sweating!

People who are texting while driving, or even talking too much on their cell phone in the car (wireless or not) are endangering everyone else on the road. We need to stop being selfish and think about our surroundings.

I think people do bury themselves in technology a bit, because of stress and to get away from their worries for awhile. And I think that's fine. But again you can't make that into a license to behave recklessly.

That how I feel! A lot of time I just wish people would get off the phone and see life right on front of them and start living it.
