I guess if he's elected to president, his running mates would be the four horsemen of the appocolypse....

This scares me. Other than the jokes that surround him, the butt grabbing, son of a nazi sympathizer, action movie actor holding political office sends shivers down my spine.
Ha-llo, my name is Ah-nold. I am da Guv-anor of Cali-fornia. I would like to pump you up. Or I will terminate you. With my bad ach-ting.

LOL - and before anyone starts in on me, my family is part Austrian, we get to mock the accents of our own! :stick_out_tongue:

I've made my fair share of jokes, and will continue to do so. But I'll give Arnold the benefit of the doubt. It's not like he's going a full term anyway.

Of course the great thing about California's "so-democratic-it-hurts" approach is that all the Democrats have to do is wait until Arnie screws up, then get a few signatures and recall him!

I don't see another recall anytime soon. The California recall has been in place since the early 1900s, with close to 30 different attempts to recall the governor (at least once per governor). It's only worked once.

California being a joke now? I don't see it. It's a democrat ploy to make the whole election seem nonsensical, because they can't go for a recount (it'd be close to hopeless to try to get over a million miscounted ballots). Arnold got more votes to be governor than Davis got to not be recalled, which gives him an air of legitimacy. If the media can make the election look like a joke, then they succeed in taking away the legitimacy the people just gave Arnold.

It's kind of hard not to see some humor in an election where two of the canidates are in the porn indesrty.

Speaking of which, weren't there some women in the porn industry who not only ran, but were elected to the Parliament in Italy?

In order to be the President, yes, you must be a native born citizen of the United States.
Isn't there an exception? I was born in Japan (though not Japanese), but both my parents were in the military. So I'm an exception to the rule, right?

Not that I'm saying I'd want to run for President; I don't think the American people want a president who would cuss out his critics.

This is true. Although, you were a native born citizen, you just happened to be born out of the country. You just need to be an American citizen from birth.
