Is anybody else annoyed by how TBS handles it's reruns of Family Guy (of course, I don't know whether FG reruns are still shown on that channel)? Mainly, the commercial breaks are shown in different spots than in the original broadcasts and in syndication and Adult Swim reruns. TBS often puts a commercial break right after the set-up to a cut-away, with the cut-away being shown right after the commercial break ends. That is a rather awkward way to show the cut-aways (especially if somebody watches forgets the set-up by the time the commercials are over). TBS' airing of Family Guy Viewer Mail #1 shows the commercials before each short story is over, as opposed to in-between them (I suppose the recent "Three Kings" episode will be shown like that if TBS broadcasts it).

It's almost as annoying as how when Comedy Central airs a movie it seems like it airs commercial breaks every five minutes.
Now that annoys me. I have always felt that way about abc's commercial breaks.

Remember the Muppet special Letters to Santa? That's pretty much the reason why it took an hour to show a little over a half hour's worth of footage.

True, often times, such programs are around forty-five minutes or so... that's FIFTEEN minutes worth of commercials to fill in an hour time slot. In the old days, a half-hour program was around twenty-six minutes long... today, about twenty, so that's ten minutes worth of commercial per half-hour!

I'm reminded of really odd commercialing on Disney XD right now; for some reason when they play Recess (and I bet they do this with other shows), they suddenly fade out halfway through the second eleven-minute segment of the show for an additional commercial break... what's that all about? For a show like this, you're allowed three commercial breaks - after the intro, between the two eleven-minute segments, and before the closing credits. You don't just randomly interrupt the middle of one segment for more commercials, it's confusing and un-necessary.
