Shoulder paint? I think the only shoulder discs that are painted are those on the News Man figure. All others in ther series should be dyed plastic and not painted, although there is a new problem that sprung up that involves clear discs and pins in the joints that have been painted over, so that might be the case here.

Series 5 has had more issues with paint than any other series, including 3. Many Gonzo's have problems with black marks on his eyes, messed up noses, mine is missing paint in spots, incomplete paint jobs inside the mouth, Camilla flaking, detached wattles, ect, ect, ect. Pepe has leg popping issues sometimes. My Janice has inconsistant paint application on her skin and her jeans must have had wet paint on them when the jean skirt was applied to the figure. News man has the least problems and yes his head is suppose the have a slight bobble head effect because it is a ball joined neck which isn't as tight as a swivel.

Anyway, there are major problems all around for series 5, and the only reason I payed 10 bucks a piece was because they had no price stickker on them when I picked them off the shelf and I assumed they were the same price. I won't be buying from Suncoast again when I can get a whole series for the same price from Uncleduke or Beanstoys and have them delievered to my door 3-4 weeks earlier..

Actually not all are dyed. See Lew Zealand.

The problems are why I severly inspected my figures before buying them, although there's a freak problem in my variant Janice: the magnet in her head is reversed. lol

Same thing here - our Target was carrying series 4, and I was lucky enough to snag a Koozebane, but when it came time for series 5, Target had NOTHING on the shelves. Not even series 4 anymore.

So, luckily for me I have a Media Play store nearby and managed to snag the only ones I wanted out of S5 - Gonzo and Muppet Newsman. Media Play is the best store - I wish everyone could have one. They have completely restructured and now offer a beautiful selection of action figures ranging from Muppets to Peanuts to Care Bears and just about everything else. They also have new anime shops around here so I can get my Japanese manga titles without having to search high and low.

I hope you all are able to find the characters you're looking for. I know the EB Games around here got S5 in as well.

Well its easy to find the waves since Media Play is good about letting me know when they're coming in  But I'm afraid I will probably never find a Koozebane and thus be subjugated to the ripoff horros of eBay :frown:

PS, Uncleduke, I emailed your shop with a specific request to use you as my Muppet outlet since your prices rock and so does your store... If you could get back to me ASAP, I sure would appreciate it.

Your pal, Josh.
Josh -
Sorry, I have been struggling with our email server - Please resend your request to me through the board, and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Well Lew Zealand, and all of series 3, is the exception. That was a factory mix up that shouldn't happen again. They used white discs and tried to paint them, but you can't paint them so all the paint flakes off of them. All other discs are suppose to be dyed.

Series 5 is suppose to have dyed discs with the exception of the Newsman. Painted ones and clear ones are a problem and anyone who can take pictures of these abnormalities and send them to Ken should do so. I think he's still collecting reports to send to the factory and things like clear discs and bad paint jobs would help steer the next series in the right direction.

There are two Targets near me. The closest is a Target Greatland. It started carrying series 4 almost immediately and a few series 3 too. Series 5 came out and they had ONE Janice and that was all. They haven't put anything else on the shelf since, and that was 2 weeks ago. All they have now are a ton of Link and Strangepork, Mega Beaker and the chef playset.

The 2nd Target to me doesn't carry ANYTHING! The employees there aren't even aware of the figs and to add insult to injury, they're listed on the Palisades site as one of the Targets that IS carrying them! S5 is like, one of the coolest so far, and the only place I can get the figs are comic stores and they're charging $15! That sucks!

Dude, none of the Targets on the site's list that I've checked out carries them. The ONLY Target I've seen with them wasn't even on the list at all........
