Hi,

Does anyone know where I could find the talking Big Bird from the 1970's? Mine is almost broken, and eyeless because my Dad stepped on Big Bird's face by accident when I was still pretty little. I loved those 3D eyes! The Big Bird I'm talking about said:

"My name is Big Bird."
"I live on Sesame Street."
"I love you very much."
"Want some birdseed."

He had a white pull string with a white plastic circle used to pull it, and a hole in the back of his head so you could make his beak move. He had more realistic feathers than the ones they sell now and could not stand up by himself.

Thanks,
Cathleen

Ebay. Ebay Ebay. If you still have the doll try looking for the company's mark and that can help you narrow down the search.
