Hmmm. The video is an embedded quicktime movie, so quicktime is required to play it. If you don’t have quicktime you can download it here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/mac.html Because it’s quicktime it does take a moment to load. I used quicktime instead of flash because I wanted iTunes to recognize the format.

I have a Mac and I was successful in viewing the video in Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape, and iTunes.

Actually, I have had a lot of problems viewing those videos too. Not always, but often. Eventually it usually works, but I have difficulty with both Explorer and Firefox on Windows XP laptop. I've tried on a Windows desktop too and the same problems seem to happen. I find that Quicktime, especially the newer versions, tends to crash browsers for some reason. The bigger the file the more likely it seems to happen.

The file size is about 7 MB. When I exported if from my editing program, I set the file size to “broadband medium”. Have you guys had any luck viewing the podcast in iTunes by clicking the “Subscribe” icon?

You should check the puppetvision entry for video podcasting. The link has a very informative and quick tutorial on how to export your videos so that everyone can see them. Here's the link to the site:

Buck, do you have the link to the article in your blog? I use it all the time at home to format my Melonpool quickcasts, but don;t have the link here at work.

If you are having trouble viewing the podcast try this: In iTunes click “Advanced”, in the pull down menu select “Open Stream”, paste this in the dialogue box: feed://feeds.feedburner.com/TheSwazzlePodcast

That should open the podcast in iTunes. The video will play in the bottom left corner, you can click on the video to watch it bigger. Hope that helps.

I have just improved the Swazzle Podcast interface. For those that were having trouble with the quicktime movie, I’ve included links to both quicktime and flash formats, check it out: http://swazzle.com/blogs/theswazzlepodcast.html

I have submitted the feed to iTunes as well, I’ll let you know when it is available.
