Well, I for 1 am not giving hope that Palisades will find a way to release Sal Manilla and the Penguin. And hopefully the other sculpted figures we've been given a glance at.
Though it won't be categorized as S10 persay, you could think of it as such. After all, Sal would be the only one missing released as an exclusive figure to complete what was a S10 lineup.

Yeah, I'm really hoping that Sal still sees the light of day too. I love that little monkey. Johnny just doesn't seem right without him...

Ken said an admirable goal he's really hoping to pull of will be one Sal, so keep yer' toes an' fingers crossed.
I was really ****** off when I heard the contract was not going to be renewed, but this is a good way to end the line, and when I take a step back and look at 'em all, I thought; "You really couldn't've asked for a more complete line." It's been a fantastic run, and the SS line will be a fantastic addition to my collection, so no regrets.
Okay; just one regret, I REALLY wanted a MEGA Kermit.

If you read the Palisades question thread you will see that Ken does not see Sal, the VH figures, or the em minis coming out at all. They have offered the figures to everyone and no one is taking them. If no one likes them at Toy Fair they will not come out and the last figure will come out this summer. It's really sad too because I have 3 Jonnies and not a single Sal.

I agree. The collection when looked at as a whole is just brilliant. We've truly been Muppet fans at the right time.

As for the Megas, I really wanted a Rowlf. I had heard something about that possibility way back in the early days and had my fingers crossed for quite some time. Mega Camilla? Mega Camilla?? Oh well.

timrikthegorf brings up a sad point. My regular Johnny is currently sulking in the Muppet Backstage Playset, lovingly clutching the Sal photo that comes with Silver Johnny. "Where's my monkey?" He asks gloomily. "Where is my Sal?" Where indeed, Johnny. Where indeed.
However, what about Palisades Direct? Couldn't they just make a minimum number of Sal figures and once they sell what they've got, call it good? They don't even have to package him. Just throw him and a penguin in plastic baggies like some of their convention exclusives.

Quote from Ken

Understanding that it may not look possible, Ken did say he was going to try, like I posted before. This is a direct quote from Ken on the second page of the current "Official Questions" thread over at Palisades:

Ken, do you know if you are going to keep the threepaint of Sal, or will we only get one version of him now that series 10 has been reconfigured?

The goal for me right now personally? Get one Sal out the door. If I can do that I consider it a success. If we can do the three-paint so much the better, but I am mainly concerned with completing the duo.

That's from quite a while ago. He more recently said that if it doesn't happen by Toy Fair in less than a month, then it's not happening at all.

Of course, he then said that he's still trying to push for an army builder pack, so who really knows?

Do you think he really knows? Like, does he either like messin' with our heads, or he doesn't want to crush our spirits? I know he's telling us what he can, but that's still always a cloudy answer.
