Hmm...plenty of chew toys, plenty of bones...how much exercise does this dog get? 'Cause if they're not walked and ran and played fetch with, they tend to go crazy.

Then again, puppies are always a handful. (But they're often more of a handful as grown dogs.)

You might want to try spraying pepper spray or bitter apple spray or something like that on the furniture legs and stuff. It might help a bit.
Tried the Bitter Apple. Would you believe the dog loves the taste of it?? Oy!!
As for taking him outside,we don't have a fenced in yard so he needs to be taken out on a leash.I play fetch with him inside though w/his doggie toys.(One of them is a squeaky one that sounds like Ernie's Rubber Duckie)

Aw, I'm sorry, that's so annoying when that happens. My doggy used to destroy a lot of precious things (though of course, nothing was more precious than her).

But that's how they are when they're young. Eventually you lay down the law and they usually get better. In the meantime, it's best to just keep valuable things on high shelves etc. lol

Our miniature Snowzer (back when she was still around) tore up pretty much all my stuff that was under my bed. I had lots of drawings under there and she would come and scratch at the floor and tare most of drawings and some of my books too and toys. I was mad. Boy was i. But now i miss her and wish she was still here. She was the only one who would walk around with me. I can still hear her barking up a storm. Sorry Kathy that your dog did that. Like i've wrote i understand everything your going through. <<<HUG>>>

I've cooled down somewhat since my first post about what happened,Kyle. Thanks for knowing where I'm coming from. I guess it irks me that Clancy has plenty of good things to play with but yet he chooses to destroy things. Maybe it's because he's still practically a puppy. *sigh* I don't know.
<<<HUG BACK>>>

True...and Odie ,Snoopy and several others.
Last night was the final straw that broke the camel's back. The dog was really misbehaving. So it was decided that he be brought back to the no kill animal shelter.:frown: My family and I were upset but it's for the best
