If you grew up around Syracuse, NY (CNY or Central New York to some) prepare for a trip down memory lane. Please join us as we sit down with former cast members and fellow guests of the STM Showboat. The STM Showboat first aired on the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY. During it's 18 year run it was also known as the "Saturday Showboat", and as the "WSTM Showboat". It was actually a spinoff of the "Salty Sam Show" starring the late Bill Everett, which ran from 1962 to 1979. The Showboat began airing episodes in 1980 and went on to run until 1998, entertaining and educating several generations of CNY children. It is one of the longest running, locally produced children's programs in North America. Having worked on the STM Showboat, it was a real treat to share in the fun memories with the cast members and fellow guests. So welcome aboard for one more journey...
