Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Steve Urkel was defenitley an icon of the 1990's. It was sad to see Family Matters end after a 9 year run, but it was time for the show to end, it was in rough shape towards the end of the series with most of the original cast members gone, and Urkel was in his 20's and wasn't a kid anymore. I hope someday they have one of those parody movies, like theyv'e had of the Brady Bunch, Bewitched, Fat Albert, etc........ of Family Matters. It would be awsome to see.
The cast was actually todl to rap it up and to get ready for a tewnthe season. But the set was demolished and the show was cancelled befre that happend. It was to feature the wedding of Laura and steve Urkel. It was also supposed the return of Jody Winslow who whould be played by yet a third actress.
Also, there was a pilot made for nick at nite where Urkel and Laura were married with children. Bobby J. Tompson, Bow Wow, and Solange Knowles were to play their children. Jileel white said that Urkel stands up strait and that his voice actually lowers in this Pilot I don't remember the name of it but I really wanted to see it.
