Statler & Waldorf on movies.com

Yeah, during the beginning of the latest one, Statler & Waldorf were yelling their intro because there were noisy car sounds. That was funny! In fact, they finally had another recurring Muppet Character besides S & W for the first time since the S & W Turn the Globe Around episode.

No I don't mean the dead one's, I mean I don't like the no-names doing it NOW.

I prefer Bill, Steve and Dave doing it because then we get to see real Muppet appearances every week, not a couple of Muppets we've never seen or wanted to see before.
You know I have to ask, what's wrong with these new guys? I mean they want a career in puppetry, and there getting a chance with this movies.com thing. Plus, let's be honset, when Whitmire and Golez did Statler and Waldorf did it sound anything like Henson and Hunt's S and W? I don't think so. I really don't think these new guys are doing a bad job, give them a break. Plus I don't really think the vocies are that bad, well Waldorf could use some work or a yet a new performer, but I don't mind the new Statler, I have to say.

Plus you have to remember everyone has to start somewhere, Before Bill got a huge character like Pepe he was the moving body for Earl Sinclair.

That is true! I mean, you can't just autimatically hate a new Muppet... you have to give it a chance, and... yeah!

Personally I like these guys better than Steve and Dave. Dave always did Waldorf with horrible timing. He played the character too hacky. And Steve's Statler, while the voice was good, had the same mannerisms and verbal crutches as Kermit now has. These new guys perform a lot better and I would have no problem if they were the main performers of Statler and Waldorf from now on. Also I owuldn't mind if the guy who performed Sam on the movies.com thing always did Sam too. He does a great Sam impression. Better than Eric.

I wonder who performed The Swedish Chef in the S & W episode about the "Cars" Movie.

Just saw the latest ones that I've missed.

The one with Cars and the Swedish Chef was pretty good. The performer for Swedish Chef (which I think is the one who does Waldorf now) was ok but Bill was definitely better.

The 4th of July/Superman one desperately needed Crazy Harry whenever they mentioned explosions!

I totally agree with you MWoO. I like these guys more as well. I wouldn't have a problem at all either if these guys took over Statler and Waldorf from now on. I never really like Dave and Steve's Statler and Waldorf at all, in fact I thought it was terrible. I know there more like the "classic" Muppet Performers, but still, you know.

To be told, the hold Disney looking for new Muppet perfomers could be a pretty good thing, in some ways.

Your 100% right.

Only problem is now that MHC has these guys, they (the MHC) does not have the business skills to actually create a job for them.

I heard the new perfomers that Disney is training are far better than the current performers that are doing the central characters; Kermit, Piggy and Fozzie. I heard they also have a new guy for Gonzo who is far younger than Dave and sounds exactly like him.
I'm very excited to hear and see these new performers! I think it's just what these characters need.
Just think we'll be able to hear Jim Kermit and Frank Piggy and Fozzie; wow! there is a GOD!
I for one am not taking this information at face value. Judgeing from other posts on the forum, this poster "informer" is very bitter against Steve and Eric, and indeed the way JHC is running now, and his information may not be accurate.

I've learnt from years of roumor mills at MC, don't beleive everything you see.
