what kind of foam would I need to get to carve statlers head out of? is it a block of that yellow furniture foam or what? and where would I get it? Is it spongy or kinda hard?

You can carve out of blocks of foam....they often come in 1'0 cubes. Try dressmaking supply stores or foam suppliers in your Yellow pages.

Isn't Statler a molded head like Piggy though?

Statlers head is moulded now, but like piggy in the early days each new head was induvidualy hand caved from a single block of foam.

Guys,

There are a few of those generic young looking pigs that are fleece covered.

They've appeared in Mopatops Shop and Jim Henson's Animal Show.

I think the Muppets molded in The Jim Henson Hour where Digit, Uboo and probably Chip.

Zhondra looks like she is carved and Lindburgh i cant tell cause he is covered with feathers.

see ya
