Interesting, I'll have to check that out. Do the DVCAM tapes work in the Mini-DV Cameras? They look the same.

No, it's a different format. I think the actual DVCAM tape is wider than MiniDV. I think that the wider surface area is one of the reasons it's a superior format (more space to store data in).

This is good news, because I have been having slight problems with glitching with the Mini-DV. So I assume then you need a camera that specifically handles that format then. I'll do some Googling.
