And an awesome actress. The mirror universe episode is, IMO, her strongest.

She is good as Kira, but she makes an even better villian!

I really miss DS9. I can't afford to buy all of the boxed seasons on DVD, and they never have reruns on my stations. I think TNN (er, "Spike") might be starting to show them sometime, though, so I hope I get to see it again soon. TNG is a sentimental favorite for me (the first Trek show I got into), but DS9 is the first I watched from the beginning to the end, and possibly the best of all the series.

since i sometimes bring you people bad news, i'll do it again now. jolene blalock who plays sub commander tpaul on startrek enterprise is having legal problems because she is not being relased from the final months of her contract and they are not renewing for next year. so she wants to leave within the final few months of enterprise.

also there are rumors that enterprise will get canceled and will not make it to season 4. however, if enterprise does continue to season 4 it may be shoved to friday nights.

Friday nights might be better. I truly hope that it doesn't get cancelled, as the show is getting more and more exciting every week. I love the whole xindi fiasco (kinda reminiscent of the dominion war).

In my mind, Star Trek's first big mistaked was ignoring the timeline. 1) Nemesis -- why was Wesley at the wedding? He was taken away7 by The Traveler 2) Klingons do not get forehead ridges until the 24th century, yet Enterprise clearly forgot this. And from the very first episode! What they need is a story explaining why this is so. After all, we now know why, from their first appearance in Enterprise (other than T'Pol), Vulcans can show emotion

True, this sin't much, but something that I do believe has led to the downfall of Star Trek. Not much of a downfall, but the franchise has clearly become somewhat stale. I still love it, but have noticed a very slight turn for the worst.

Why couldn't Wesley be at the wedding? If the traveller could show up a few times, why couldn't Wesley show up at the wedding of his friends? I don't understand why this is a problem...

As for the Klingons, I really like the "explanation" from the DS9 episode with the Tribbles. When they travel back to the original Enterprise, the human characters ask Worf what the deal is with these human-looking Klingons. Worf uncomfortably replies that it is an internal matter to the empire, and they don't like to discuss it with outsiders. I loved that--they acknowledged that it was an issue, but refused to deal with it. A very clever way of tackling a question that goes back to the first movie in 1979.
