As a huge Star Trek fan whose favorite series is the original (though I LOVE TNG as well), I'm thrilled that the original series' complete three seasons are finally coming out on DVD. I'm not excited about the price, which looks to set me back about $300 if I should choose to invest. Ick. I can't see that happening too soon. But maybe one, and the others each at a time when I feel I've reward a major spending spree...

I have just started getting into the series...if it wasn't so expensive...There's always reruns on TV.

If you get cable... :frown: They used to have them on network TV and we had a ton of taped episodes of original and TNG, but my brother (who used to be the biggest Star Trek geek of all) threw them all away when I wasn't around. :grouchy:
