Enjoy this season two outline, with some suggestions made to me via private message by TotallySpiesFan.

Scene 1
Gordon makes a pattern on the street. He has paper 1s and paper 2s, repeating the "1, 2, 1, 2" pattern. He asks Big Bird if he knows what comes next. Big Bird guesses that 12 comes next, as he'd thought the 1 and 2s were 12s. Gordon corrects him, and holds up a 1 and a 2, forming a 12. Big Bird sees that and says that "1 and 2 make 12". Gordon corrects Big Bird, teling him that 1 and 2 make 3.

Inserts
  • One Song (Song of One)
  • Dollhouse
  • Grover and Herbert Birdsfoot count three blocks

Scene 2
Big Bird wants to talk some more about 12. Susan comes by with a carton of a dozen eggs, and says that a dozen is 12. Big Bird then counts the eggs.

Inserts
  • a basketball player makes 12 baskets
  • Speech Balloon: K-key
  • K Cheer Version 3
  • K-kiss
  • Ernie loses Rubber Duckie part 1
  • Speech Balloon: K-key (repeat)
  • Ernie loses Rubber Duckie part 2

Scene 3
Joel Grey comes to Hooper's Store to use the phone, because he has had some car trouble. Mr. Hooper recognizes him, and leaves the store to let Susan, Gordon, Bob, and Big Bird know that Joel Grey is there. Big Bird's response is "Who's Joel Grey?"

Inserts
  • Ernie meets Simon Soundman
  • Alphabet Bates: P
  • P-pin
  • James Earl Jomnes counts to 10
  • Pick Your Pet
  • Bill Cosby twins count to 20
  • Bert accuses Ernie of eating his cookies
  • K-kiss (repeat)

Scene 4
Joel Grey encounters Oscar, who notices that he is messy due to the car trouble (oil leaks on him). Oscar invites Joel into the can, but he'd rather not go in there. He'd rather go home and take a bath, which disgusts Oscar.

Inserts
  • Solomon Grundy
  • Ernie prepares for his bath
  • Sherlock Hemlock: Twiddlebug mystery
  • Over, Under, Around, and Through
  • A basketball player makes 12 baskets (repeat)
  • Little Bird: Imagination Game

Scene 5
Joel Grey sings The Alphabet Song to the kids. In voice-over, Susan says that "sesame street has been brought to you today by the letters K and P, and by the number 12". The logo stils depict Gordon holding the Sesame Street sign, and Ernie and Bert holding the Children's Television Workshop sign.

Great work. How about doing a Sesame Street Season 3 outline where Nancy Walker visits. The sponsors will be D, N, and 9.

Well, I've been considering making a season three outline, but have been having trouble with material. I'll consider a Nancy Walker outline. It may not be my next outline, but I'll consider it.
