Hi--

I'm new to this board so please forgive me for being naive--

I'm in the beginning stages of producing a dedication short for SS's 35th anniversary and will probably be asking many questions in the upcoming weeks to educate myself before approaching Sesame Workshop/PBS for archival footage and photographs. I know you will be an invaluable resource and although I have been reading through muppetcentral.com, it can be quite overwhelming!

Here are my first few questions:
1. Does an episode guide list exist?
2. Does a comprehensive celebrity guest list exist?
3. What do you think are the top 10 moments in SS history? (i.e Hooper's passing)
4. If these lists do exist, where can I find them?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions you may give.

Best,
Linda

Where exactly the lists are, I dunno. There's a big list of guest stars in the book SS: Unpaved.

Many of the moments in SS history are Hooper's Passing, Street People Meet Snuffy, Wedding of Maria/Luis, Maria has a baby, Susan and Gordon adopt Miles, the season premiere when they went around the corner of the street, trips to Hawaii, China, Japan, and all the different versions of Duckie songs.

Here are some of my memorable SS moments. Mr. Hooper dies, Oscar and his trash can go up in space, and I think there was one where C-3PO and R2-D2 showed up. Or maybe that was my imagination. Been so long ago.

Don't forget the movies: Follow That Bird and Elmo in Grouchland.

Any moment from "Christmas Eve On Sesame Street" is a memorable and important one for me, and for many others I know.

Sorry. I don't have anything recorded to trade. I only vaguely remember an episode where a trash can came from space and Oscar got in it and went to the moon and they showed photographs from the moon. I always thought that was cool. I hope that was a real episode and I'm not just imagining things!
