Did you mention that she made her first appearance in the 25th year of the show? 1993, I believe, the same year when SESAME STREET showed "around the corner", and the same year Ruth Buzzi, Celina the dance instructor, and Baby Bear first appeared.

That is actually not the season when Baby Bear first appeared. He was on before then. I believe his first appearance was in about Season 23, but he was very different. Rather than seeing him play with his best friend Telly, you usually saw him with Goldilocks, who would always be there and ruin everything for him. She would always do whatever it was he wanted to do first. Like she would eat his porridge, sit in his chair, say the alphabet, and all kinds of different things.

Okay, they were supposed to be from the fairy tale Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. I'm sure many of you are familiar with that story. There was a show, very early, I think it was season 23, maybe even 22. They told the whole story, and introduced them. He was very annoyed with him throughout the episode for eating his porridge, breaking his chair, and sleeping in his bed. I was told that at the end, they decide maybe they should become friends. And then she starts annoying him and changes his mind before the show was over.

You know who remembers this very well? Remember Scooter_101 (DonMusic from the former YesterdayLand site)? He remembers a lot about this show, but he has not been here in ages.

Also, he was not the only character like this. Newer characters like Baby Bear, Goldilocks, Joey and Davey Monkey, Kingston Livingston III, Roxy Maria, and even Rosita first appeared in Season 23, or 24, but weren't used regularly until Season 25. But most of those newly added characters were dropped very quickly, because there were too many minor characters, and nobody could remember them all.
