Today marks 20 years since Square One TV premiered. That was a PBS show all about math.

If anyone wants to come, I'm trying to get some fans of the show to visit the Museum of TV & Radio in New York tomorrow (Sat.), meeting at noon. You can read more about it and celebrate the anniversary at squareonetv.org.

Have a happy Square One TV Day.

The story you are about to see is a fib, but it's short. The names are made up, but the problems are real.

"I was working the daywatch out of Mathnet. My partner is George Frankly. The boss is Thad Green. My name is Monday. I'm a Mathematician."

I loved Mathnet!

I hope that Sesame Workshop celebrates the anniversary somehow. I hope that it gets a DVD release. Since the Mathnet segments continued into the weeks, there should be weeks worth of episodes. Maybe a three-disc set with the first week, a week from one of the middle seasons, and the last week.
