Looks like Emile Hirsch is going to play the lead role... awesome.

I think he's perfect for the role. He's more believable than Zac E.

God, I'm such a big Speed Racer fan (as if it weren't obvious). Next May is pretty huge... Speed Racer, Indiana Jones IV, Iron Man, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian... oh, and isn't The Power of the Dark Crystal supposed to arrive in May as well? Score one for nostalgia.

I'm with you on all of the upcoming releases! I esp can't wait for The Power Of The Dark Crystal. It's supposed to be mostly CGI as well.

Man, I can't wait for this now. I really love Ricci.

Also, the entire thing is apparently CGI, except for the actors. Intriguing. Says producer Joel Silver, "We may not even use real cars."

Ricci is in so many brilliant roles. I think she'll bring a lot to the film.

I especially liked Ricci as Wednesday Addams in the "Addams Family" movies. She seems so... dark, mysterious and unordinary... I love it!

She was great in Buffalo 66. Wednesday Addams and Claudia are the best darker child characters. Ricci's been in so many indi films now that I think about it.
