It wasn't ebonics, but Roosevelt Franklin disapeared because he was considered too stereotypical of African Americans...
You know, I never even thought of Roosevelt Franklin as anything but purple.

*However*, it is something that can be worked on, and I would hope that now tht Curly Bear is clerly aged a year or so, we would see Baby Bear work ont ht now. Perhaps a 2-part episoe like the "Invisible snuffleupgus" (sp?) one where he does work hard to get it corrected, to show the children how they, too, can overcome such problems.

I think that it would be hilarious if they did two episodes like this, and after the episodes, Baby Bear has a deep voice and speaks with a British accent! :stick_out_tongue:

Its a kids show come on.
Exactly, we should not be reinforcing and encuraging bad speach and grammer when children are in a developmental stage and are still learning the lanuage themselves, some are even ESL (english as a second lanuage). so why is sesame helping to create bad habbits?

To give us something to talk about. LoL. Seriously thought Elmo does get annoying. However, you got to remember that some of the characters are only a few years old. So naturally they wouldn't have the perfectest ) ) grammar in the world.
