Well... It's not the spam threads persay that are hard to spot. It's the new members who are actually bogus members or might turn out to be spammers. They used to have these telltale pieces of information in their profiles that stuck out like a sore thumb and were just fake accounts. Some of the new people joining up, if you're constantly on the watch for any new members who join here, still have the signs of potential spammers... It's just a bit more difficult to tell who though what with the new system for registration in place. Hope this helps clear things up a bit better.

I might even be fake, come to think of it. Ya never know when I'm going to try to unload 500 litres of Maple Syrup on you unsuspecting suckers... (it IS a good deal btw)
