Sorry I haven't been around lately

Hope you all haven't thought I've deserted you. I guess I've just been down lately & didn't want to drag it in here.I'm still missing my dad needless to say,but that's to be expected.
I've been pretty much lurking around here.I'll be okay though. I was Emailing a friend whom I haven't been in touch with for a while,and I was telling her that my dad passed away I felt sad telling her this.Suddenly I could hear my dad saying, "Now I want to see a smile,Kath." I remember him saying this in a Christmas video of us when I thought one of my relatives had forgotten to give a present to me. But it was found.So Dad (who was taping us) & he said that he wanted to see a smile. So I smiled (of course) & he said "That's better"

Your story was sweet. I have noticed you have not been around much but your presence is always enjoyable when you are here. Hope everything is okay and if you ever need to vent or talk about something I am always here to listen to you. So are many of the rest here too. Don't hesitate. We care about you a lot. I too have noticed your absence, but know that we are always here for you and you are not dragging us down. I'm sorry I haven't been available on AOL much to talk to, lately I've been on at night to check my e-mails and then quickly getting off and going to bed! Anyway, if I am there, you know you can always talk to me. In fact, if I have an away message up and you need to talk, send me a message and I'll still talk to you. Just keep remembering that this is normal, grief doesn't end in a day and that we're all here for you.
