Oh wait...that's not going to help is it? :halo:

Hang in there man! You know you're awesome, we know you're awesome, so what if for a moment you lose a little awesomeness (by falling off a box by slipping in soap if nothing else)? We love ya man!

bea:zany:{*who is just realising that one insulted Vic by saying he was loseing a little awesomeness and that is so not what one meant*}regard

Just a few more **** in your posts than normal lately...
:embarrassed: Yeah, a few "****'s" have been creeping into my actual vocabulary lately too and I hate it. I used to work construction and I used to swear like a sailor, and it took a lot of work and time to correct that. I'm cool with an h-e double hockey sticks, and the 3 letter alternative to hiney (and I don't mean bum!) here or there, but a few heavy hitters have been slippin' out lately and I'm not thrilled about it. I don't mind cursing in general, but I do mind when I curse. I slipped on the phone with my mom the other day!

Beau, you're such a good friend, e-mailing me regularly just to say 'hi' and make sure I'm on the up and up. Thanks, man.

Look positively about this move Dave. Try to see it as an exciting challenge with new people to meet and experiences to try at. I'm learning that stress can be handled well through my counselling course with Major Colin, as you may well have been reading about.

God be with you mate

BTW since I started studying the Bible every day again, my own swearing has greatly improved. God is helping me, and He will help you too.

Here's a little diddy I though of while reading this thead. Here's some music to go with this little story.

Let's picture it. (Oh were moving Dave in that is first)

First all of us come to the dorms. We all say hello to each other. Then comes the fun part. We start moving all the stuff in side. Me and Martain start with the couch. Going up stairs Martain drops his side of the couch due to a pin that poked his finger. It rolls back squshing me as it keep trudging down. We then see Ryan and Dave bring in some boxes.

Ryan sees the couch but forgets to tell Dave and Dave gets ran over by the run away couch. Ryan goes on up but doesn't see Me who is lying on the tenth floor due to the couch and trips over me. The box goes flying and hits Martain. Martain fall down the stairs and keep tumbling. Beth and Beau are coming with a side table. Martain says "Watch out!"

Beth being in front starts running down the stairs but forgets about Beau holding the table. Beau gets hit by Martain and they both come tumbling down. Beth is still running down. About that time Anthony is heading on up with a lamp in each arm. He sees Beth and wonders what's going on and walks on up. He then stops to tie his shoe. He doesn't see Beau and Martain rolling down the stairs with the side table tumbling after them. Anthony keeps going. Ryan and D-Snowth come in with a mattress.

They start on their way up. After a few minutes go by I finally get up cheaking every inch of my body is ok. Ryan see me but D-Snowth doesn't and tramples me. I then pull on his belt which breaks and his pants fall down. He lets go to pull his pants up. Ryan keeps going but can't hold on much longer (kind of reminds me of a saying on some show oh well LOL) well you know what happens next.

The mattress starts sliding down hits D-Snowth and knocks him into me which we then fall onto the mattress and start flying down the stairwell. Up at the top where (Dave's room is) Anthony gets to the room but has some allergic reaction to something and some barbells come out of the bottom of the box. "Whoops." They start rolling on down. That is when Bren comes on up with a muppet collection of stuff. (Don't forget about the mattress) As she goes on up, still D-Snowth and Me are having the time of our lifes that is until we spot the dumbbells. "We better scoot!"

So we start pushing off the wall and stair case to get away from the dumbbells. We then bump into Martain. "Hey guys. Fun ride?" We then bump into Bren who dumps all the stuff on top of us. She then join the ride. "Whoa! What's happen?" We keep trudging on down. Beau who is still rolling down sees us and says, "That isn't fair." and keeps rolling. As the fun (wackyness) keeps going we finally see Beth who is still running down the stiars with a side table chase her. The mattress bumps into her and the side table and it also joins us. So on down the stairs we find Kathy and Ruahnna coming up with a picture. There not worried are they.

Not for long. That's when we break their concentration and fly right into the picture of the "Whole Muppet Gang" and tear it in two. "I know someone who's going to be in a very bad mood." "And someone who's going to very angry at you." "Me?" So as we keep sailing through the stairs of of of of....wel you know what I mean.

Here we are (that is most of us) going down a stair well on a mattress. As it ends we hit a bump (not know what or who it was) we all go flying into the air we land with a "Thud!"In a raging dust storm we all are lying on the floor or on the mattress coughing our lungs out. That's when Dave comes back down and then says, "Guys we can't be sleeping on the job. We don't have all day. Chop chop."

There we are all looking at each other. We all pick up the stuff and start after Dave with whatever we could pick up. Poor Dave. I would hate to be him.

How's ya'll like it. Funny? Stupid? Week? Not so good? What? Just let me know. This was fun to do. (Ya'll have to listen to the song when reading this it makes it funny)

If I've been testy or short lately, I'm moving in 3 days and it's just wearing me down lately. We're moving away from family, we're moving away from friends and our current home is all upside down. I've only moved once (when we got married) and so I'm not real good at it yet, y'know? :sing:
Things in my life are going really really well lately, and normally I deal with stress a lot better then this, so maybe it's just me craving some sort of drama or somethin' weird like that. :stick_out_tongue:
At any rate, before I joined MC, I never believed someone could develop real friendships online, and youse' guys... my MC family have proved that wrong. So bottom line: thanks for understanding, and like I said, if I pressed yer' buttons th'wrong way lately, I'm sorry. I really do love you guys.

Dave
May I ask why are you and your wife moving? Perhaps I'm getting to personal and I'm not saying it's a bad thing you're moving but if it's that upsetting, why do it?

Don't I know it! Like I said, life has been going really well and rich with blessings. Thanks, Martain.

Not at all, Mike; it's a very good question. We live in central Jersey but we both work in New York, not NYC or we'd take public transportation, but because we work in NY state, we have to drive and it's over 75 miles one way and I just got a big promotion and my wife just started working in the same building, so the commute is sheer murder on a daily basis. We have no life right now because commuting takes up four hours of our day! We're close enough that we can visit family and friends on the weekends, but far enough away that there's no room for a "quick visit". With our move we're 30 minutes/30 miles from work, so we can actually have a life again.
