That's funny.... season 32?

I dunno if it's just here or because PBS is having another pledge month... but I was watching SS today... and here's where it's weird

It's an episode from 2 seasons ago, before the format change, Specifically, the one Elmo is inspired by Baby Bear's collage and decides to make his own.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Hey!! I noticed that, too! But yes, it is a pledge month, and that's why they're doing it, but I was wondering the same thing! But yes, it is just here. I know, because it's only WGBH Channel 2 that's airing these shows. WSBE 36 in Providence is airing the regular nationwide shows, as is WENH 11, and WGBX 44. I actually remember them doing this before. They often do that if they have to fill the space. That is, they air pledge shows from previous seasons.

So they're airing Season 32 episodes eh? That's good for me since I haven't watched them before. The plan is to watch them when they're aired on Noggin in conjunction with Season 35 on PBS. If you've noticed, Noggin shows episodes from three seasons back from the currently aired season. This will prove useful at least until this season to get somewhat updated with both episodes and missing characters. Too bad they're not airing episodes from earlier seasons though.

I'll have to check it tommorrow at 9:00 on 44 to make sure it's not a mistake. maybe it was just a one time thing? I dunno... the pledge fillers looked new to me...

You don't get channel 11 or 36, do you?

I got 11 in once ... never got it again... never even HEARD of 36....

I'll try tommorrow... maybe they've decided to put on old eps as a stop gap replacement for the overly rerun current season...

Okay, I take it you don't have cable, DrTooth. Correct?

Anyway, 11 is out of New Hampshire, and 36 is out of Rhode Island, and it's a tiny little station with a tiny little signal. See, I get those on cable.

Apparently it was just until the end of pledge month. (So I guess technically they are giving the rest of the current season a rest). But it's only on 2. I've checked 44, and they have the current season.

From my observation, the episodes appear to have skits edited out of them (I see scant Mupet skits, I think those were the ones that got cut... and they're the best ones) so they can fit more desperate begging for money... err pledging.

A lot of other shows are being aired weird as well... Arthur has the "Word from us Kids" segments cut (YIPPEEEEE!!!) but they are running the same five episodes over and over (boo!)

and yes.. as I';ve said time and time again... no cable.
