Okie-dokie, one of my favorite sketches from the Sesame Street Old School set is from the first episode where Gordon gives the anything muppets their eyes, hair, noses, et cetera. I know for a fact that Frank Oz is doing the sister and brother, and Jim Henson is obviously doing the father and uncle, and I THINK the mother was played by Caroll Spinney... I'm not sure since he rarely does characters outside of Big Bird and Oscar, but I do know in the beginning he was Lefty the Salesman before Frank took over, and since the only three Muppeteers of the first season were Jim, Frank, and Caroll, and since Jim and Frank were already doing two puppets at once that sketch, I'm pretty sure that only leaves Caroll to do the mother... so was he?

Where was Nelson during year one? I thought he had already joined the crew.

He joined full-time for the second season. Although he could have probably done a couple of bits in one or two sketches if his schedule permitted. :sing:

I thought it was Frank Oz doing the mother as well, but then again I'm not used to hearing Carroll doing other characters. Muppet Wiki says it's Carroll too. I'd really have to hear it again.
