while here's a tread about guest appearances here, their are those who dropped in who had some very interesting stuff about them. > Pete Seeger a folk singer guest starred on the 1st season and was somewhat of a conterversial guy. considered to far left and perhaps by some a communist and was blacklisted durring the McCarthy era in the 50s. made guest appearance on TV durring the 50s and 60s causing trouble because of whatever. > another was Zero Mostel. don't know anything about him other than he was a well known actor blacklisted durring the Senator McCarthy era. and he would later do the voice of the spellbinder on The Electric Company's The Adventures Of Letterman. i was also a member on YL and it was mentioned by Fuzzygobo Will Lee aka Mr. Hooper was also blacklisted. > last 2 Jessie Jackson appeared in 1971, and Buffie St. Marie. now some might dispute Jackson being conterversial and as for Buffie who was more of a part time regular, i don't know what it was but but she was investigated for criticized for something back in the 60s. she has a site i think called creativenation.com or something like that witch explains it. > while i'm sure the CTW would of really have gone out of their way to stop anyone from gueststarring for any reason, it's a very interesting to have had so many people making appearances on the show who have at 1 time or another been know to have been conterverseal. what this a coinncidence or not?
