Hey Jamie,

I just checked out your site and your work is awesome - I especially love the graphite Muppet sketches. What are you doing these days? Besides those snazzy MuppetCentral menus....

Looking for work! LOL! Thanks. So glad you like my work. I'm trying to increase my client base right now. I am also continuing to put work into my web comic. When you see it you'll understand the yearlong delay. I have put an immense amount of work into it already. I'm hoping to launch it several months from now. I can't put an exact date on it yet. :excited:

I wish stores would create the same sort of cross-company promotions like in Japan. Comic book stores just dont' cut it IMHO. I'd like to see one store with mini Disney, Henson and WB themed sections. Not like a cluttered novelty shop, but a cleaner, more polished look. Is that kind of what Japan has?

That's pretty much the idea. They're alot like the Disney or WB stores, fairly well-layed out and well-merchandised.

On the subject of web comics, I admire anyone who's dedicated to do one. I started one late last year after reading Scott McCloud's Reinventing Comics (a pretty cool book for anyone who's interested in webcomics) but didn't take it very far because I didn't have enough time.

The beginings of my efforts can be seen here.

Thanks :embarrassed: - I'm hoping, but I started the webcomic because "Bear Town" was actually a film idea I was playing with for quite awhile and at the time it wasn't going anywhere. When I realized that the webcomic was almost as much work as making the film I decided to just to the film.

I'm currently recycling alot of the webcomic work as storyboards for the film. I'm in the process of starting to raise the $$ needed now. I've actually got one grant for it already, so 7k down and $243,000 to go lol (`ya got start somewhere).

I think that anything associated with SESAME STREET would have to have both the Henson Company and Sesame Workshop involved......
