Quite a feat in and of itself, a cult film that's famous for flopping gets a sequel almost 30 years later, and now it's deemed good enough to be a cartoon series.

Now, I didn't see either movie, nor did I have the time to see the preview of the series just yet, but I gotta admit... this is kinda the thing Disney SHOULD be doing. More television cartoons. Sure we have Phineas and Ferb, Fish Hooks, and 2 Marvel series, Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man... but this is the first cartoon based on a movie since Emperor's New School, and their first not TV EI one since Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. They came off of the "Live action pop shows only" phase really well. Hopefully we see more animated programing coming out of Disney.
