And bad hurricanes(worse then Katrina) have happened before and have done worse damage because there were no warning systems.
According to different sources, including the Weather Channel,Katrina has become the worst storm on record.

And Global Warming DOES exist, how do you think the Ice Ages came and went?

And the National Weather Service began as the Weather Bureau in 1891. So weather has been measured for a lot longer than fifty years.

I believe it was the invention of the Doppler Radar that's been around for 50 years.

And how many times has San Francisco been destroyed by earthquakes? There's 1906. But when else has the city been destroyed?

Check this!
And it's the worst ON RECORD. Have you seen all the hurricanes that have the occured seen the beginning of time? I think not, don't believe everything you hear on TV, that's naive. And humans weren't there during the last ice age to cause or prevent it. Whose to say it's not a natural cycle? The world goes 'round and so does everything on it. Whose to say that humans haven't already prevented another ice age? There's been muiltable ice ages since the beginning of time and no one knowns what cause the ice age. It could have nothing to do with global warming.

Accurately, by computers.

You mean that the members of the weather bureau who stood there and watched the weather as it occurred and recorded it were wrong or inaccurate? You were there to prove them wrong? Computers are only as good as the information that is entered into them, by the people who stood there and watched the weather and recorded it.

Standing and watching doesn't catch everything. Measurements and science equipment has improved quite a bit since the days of sticking your had out the window.

Then you shouldn't have started it. Where there's global warming, soon will follow a fight.
