Hello all. So I've been toying with the idea of making a Zoot or Lips puppet by modifying an existing pattern. I've got both patterns for both heads, but the problem is, they are open-mouthed and I have absolutely no idea how to modify them to be 'small mouthed'. I'd like advice from somone, but the thing is I am terrible with modifying patterns and may need somone to post a picture so I can understand it best.

P.S. By 'small mouthed' I mean like the mouths seen on Bunsen Honeydew and such.

Can you curve the lip line in the pattern and glue it like a big dart?
Thats how i would start it at least and go from there
