Thanks! This pic has gotten a lot of "Oooh, how cute! I want to hug and/or adopt one!" And then there's a friend of mine who called my attention to how Wembley looks like he's picking his nose. I had to clean the cola off my monitor. :coy:

Lol. Actually one think I liked was how having him suck his fingers like that and transfering his shirt to hang around his waist makes him look so much younger. It was a good technique.

Heh, I almost drew him in a diaper, but I decided that he's not quite that young. So the diaper became a banana tree breechclout.

Fan art for the animated Fraggle Rock. I feel so ashamed.

Sidebottom was discussed in Boober's character profile in the FR:TAS DVD extras, but he was never used. That is a sin and a shame, so I felt obligated to draw him and write a fanfic about him.

Hey Slackbot I have a question. I noticed that this Sidebottom looks more clownish than the live action one which to me has more of a jester-like feel to him. Did you do that on purpose because he's the cartoon one or is that just sorta how it worked out?

I played a bit with Sidebottom's design because this would be for the animated series, which did not stick very strictly with the TV series' designs...or characterizations...or theme. In "Sidebottom Butts In" Sidebottom isn't just Boober's fun side, he's everything Boober would like to be but is too afraid. Sidebottom knows no fear and loves to raise, er, heck. Anything that makes Boober cower and cringe makes Sidebottom laugh. So, I wanted an "out-of-control clown" look.

A few doodle dumps for those as likes that kinda thing...

Fraggle & Muppet Doodle Dump: Random gags, fanfic-based drawings, and a whole lotta practice drawing Scooter. Now when I draw him he ought to actually be recognizable as opposed to looking like an orange clam with glasses.

Fraggle Rocky Horror Doodles: I was judging auditions for a Rocky Horror cast this weekend, and between performances I doodled. Some RHPS-ness crept onto the page, of course. Nothing non-G-rated, though.
