Thanks, guys! Yeah, I was thinking of a Cantus-style robe, but not a copy of Cantus's robe. This is supposed to be another member of his race, which differs from regular Fraggles in that they are taller, have plumelike manes, and are furry all over rather than only on the body and tail.

I get ostrich feathers from several sources. The long, flyaway white hair came off a 4-ply ostrich boa that I bought on eBay just so I could chop it up for puppet hair. His beard and some of the fluff on his cheeks and behind his eyes came from a package of 8" ostrich drabs (body feathers) I bought on Amazon. There are also some white turkey feathers in there for shorter fluff. I've had those for years, and have no idea where I originally got 'em.

I don't like that pic of Cantus and Gobo. Cantus is way too short. Look at the length of his arms. His knuckles would drag on the ground when he walked! You'd think he had no legs on under that robe, that they just stuck disembodied feet under the hem of his robe and called it a day. Every other posed picture of Cantus has the same problem, too.

I don't like any Muppet Promotional photos such as the one above. They always overstuff their faces and make them look either too tall or too short.
