I'm not sure of the details of this skit but I think it was about email. Luis was using the computer in the Fix-It shop and Big Bird came in and asked what he was doing. Luis said he was talking to Linda at the library. Big Bird keeps running back and forth to the library througout the skit.
Can anyone fill in the details of this skit?

Thanks!

Wow, Mike! I was just thinking about that one the other day. I've often wondered about that, because I didn't think they had IM in the 80s. I'm guessing it was a special instrument for deaf people. Anyway, BB was running back and forth from the Fix-It Shop to the library to be sure their monitors said the same thing. Then he got all worn out. Luis asks Linda if she had any books on fixing guitars, but when he said he would send Big Bird to get it, he passed out from exhaustion, so Luis decided to get it himself. I hope this info helps.

Thanks!

Yes, that info helps a lot! Actually I hope they release this skit on the Classic Sesame Street DVD which I heard comes out in October if all goes well - it's been years since I've seen this skit! Thanks!
