This is from TMS. I first heard it a year ago and I can't stop singing it(I don't do it continuously, only when I get the whim). I love it because of the beat, the African Masks, and how can you go wrong with Harry Belafonte?

Anyway, my contribution to the thread... oh wait, it's another "favorite" question. I don't have a lot of favorites. <sigh>. I'll get back to this.

Hmm...I don't honestly know, you see, when I get a new Muppet MP3, I play it consistently until I know it by heart, then I spend the next couple of days at school with them playing through my head.

But my first one? Oh well that's easy, the first song I memorized was "Rainbow Connection." Then I worked on "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday," and "Saying Goodbye." And to this day they remain my top three favorite Muppet songs.

My favorite song...oooh this is a tough question. Mine changes nearly daily. As for earliest memory would be the song "I've got a new way to walk" with the oink sisters..and cereal girl, both I remember watching when I was little. My favorite song today would be "Pass it on".

"I Don't Want to Live On the Moon!" I saw it on "Sesame Street," though I think I first heard it on a tape I had of songs from the show. I love the song because it's just so beautiful and sweet and simple and celebrates both a sense of adventure and longing for home - the Baggins and Took always at war within me. Not to mention that Ernie is my favorite Muppet.

Well, my current favourite song is The Wishing Song as sung by Rowlf The Dog. I just managed to find it on a P2P and have been listening to it nonstop...

I wish I had a coat of silk the colour of the sky.

My favorite is either Shine On Me from Fraggle Rock, which I first saw on HBO during the first few years of my life, and Sweet Vacation from The Jim Henson Hour, I first saw that song on the second Muppet Sing A Long Song Video It's Not Easy Being Green.

Hmm it changes too. But gotta say at the moment its gotta be 'Lose Your Heart and Its Found' by the minstrels from Fraggle Rock. I really love that song, and its not one of the sadder ones that I love. ^_^
