Well, as the title says, does anyone have a neck-pattern to share? I didn't quite get it right on my last puppet, and i don't want to screw it up on my next one.
Thanks

Well, generally a neck sleeve is just a tube of fabric. The exact pattern really depends on the puppet. I usually just make a tube that is tapered so that one end is the size of the opening in the bottom of the head and the other is the size of the opening in the bottom of the puppet's body.

Also, it's not a good idea to use spandex in my experience although I know some people suggest that. The problem is that spandex will stretch eventually and deform the neck. If you do use spandex for a neck sleeve you can try using spandex with a one-way stretch and make sure the neck stretches horizontally and not vertically.

I'll be using the same material as the rest of the puppet for the neck.
