(1) Simon sounds out call, then he makes some bird calls (which attracts birds), pig calls (which attracts some pigs), cow calls (which attracts two cows including Gladys), and telephone calls (which attracts two phones).

(2) A blue background with a wall in front.

(3) Funny.

(4) There's no ending music in there.

I remember two other Simon Soundman skits. One was where he was in a china shop and Old MacDonald came in, looking for one of his animals who came to buy a teapot. Simon made all the different farm animal sounds to try to help Old MacDonald find his animal, which attracted all the different animals into the store. Another was where Simon went to a music store and wanted a trumpet. He told the clerk that he wanted a trumpet by making the sound and the clerk kept bringing out the wrong instrument. Simon was a favorite of mine. Too bad he's not really around anymore.

In similar fashion, I was just thinking of the skit where Simon wants a saw and keeps being given the wrong tools, like a hammer. ("I don't want a bang bang bang, I want a zshh zshh zshh zshh zshh!")
Then of course there's the "bock bock bock bock BOCK" sandwich with Grover. And the one where he comes to Ernie's apartment wanting to use the telephone. As he goes through his story, he does lots of various sound effects like a baby crying and footsteps. But Ernie then does a sound effect and Simon says, "Hey, are you making fun of the way I talk?" Ernie says, "No, I ..." Simon says, (Hey, simon says is a classic kids game! :stick_out_tongue: ) "Well if that's the way you're gonna be I'll just go use someone else's brrrring!" And Simon storms out of the apartment and slams the door. Ernie then says, "He didn't have to <makes sound effect of a slam> the door. Keeheeheeheehee!"
