I think naming kids after celebrities is hard on them, especially if they turn out not to be musical, etc. Nothing against Paul Simon.

Hehe, no, I agree that kind of thing could scar a kid. I think there are an awful lot of names that could do that... Seems to me there was somebody who signed Art's guestbook whose last name was Garfunkel, and he always got teased about it. I think it would be really weird if somebody became famous and had your name. I mean, I bet there were dozens of Harry Potters in the world before Rowling published her book. Wonder what effect it's had on them...

I do not really care for the name Simon my oppinion though. All my bros and sisters name's starts with a "k"
