I just noticed the thread title, which I think was changed after I titled it. "Similarities between Bruno's and Krang's bodies". It should be "Similarities between Bruno and Krang's body". It's not comparing the looks of the two characters, but the two characters. I guess it's an honest mistake since Krang's body wasn't really given a name (the action figures refer to it as "Krang's Android Body").

Though it is interesting how Krang needed a "body". His brain technically was his body, since he was a moving brain-like creature. Though his backstory as explained in "Hot-Rod Teenagers from Dimension X" is a bit confusing... They say he was stripped of his body and all that was left was his brain. Would he have always been a brain-like creature who controlled a robotic body, or did he was lose everything but his brain and somehow his face became part of the brain?

I don't recall the body speaking... I do know the body made moans, groans and grunts in it's first appearance (Shreddered and Splintered).... it really had more static animation as the show went on, frankly... and some episodes you could tell the animators didn't want to bother, and they gave him the second "body." Basically the glass bubble with robot legs.
Recently I was reading at the TMNT Wiki that Krang usually used that robotic glass bubble when he went out into the city due to the body being damanged on earth. I dont quite know what this means exactly (and don't know if the TMNT Wiki is as trusted as Muppet Wiki).

Also, I've recently seen a few clips from the season 8 epsiodes where Shreddar and Krang meet Drek, and Krang used that bubble with legs in the clips shown. And I've read that the turtles used the body in the last episode, while Krang was nowhere to be seen. Did somethign happen to it before the original bad guys got "permaneantly" trapped into diminsion X?

And after doing some reading, I wonder if that episode where I thought the body was talking might be the sixth season episode Krangenstein Lives. As I said the sound was off when I saw it but I recall the body moving on it's own (the plot invovles it coming to life when Bebop and Rocksteady replace a chip with a video game). And season six was broadcast around the time I remember seeing this episode on CBS.
