I didn't have one, but our whole first grade put on a recital of "Favorite Songs From Sesame Street". Each class (about ten students in each class) got to sing a different number. We sang Rubber Duckie, People in your Neighborhood (one kid dressed up as a doctor, another one a fireman), ABC...(it's the most remarkable word I ever seen, etc.), and a few others.
But our class had the best one, we got to sing I Love Trash and actually got to throw things out into the audience! Mostly cardboard boxes and empty cans, nothing that could result in a lawsuit from some kid in the third row getting his eye poked out. But the early 70's were the best time to be in grade school. There's NO WAY we could get away with that today.
And it was a great discovery for me, being six years old, that I loved being on stage, I loved having an audience, and I loved putting on a show! And getting to sing at the top of my lungs!
And I've been playing in bands ever since
