Sick thread post

Hey fellow Muppets,
The original "Sick Thread Post" seems to have disappeared into oblivion. So, I gotta start it up again.
For the past few days, I've had headaches & sinus problems.
I was supposed to move into the MC Dorms with my alter ego Prairie Dawn this week,but I've felt pretty crummy. I will be back by the end of the weekend or Monday the latest.
Until then I'll be lurking around the site.

I am currently hoping I don't have stupid, gross pink eye. My eye is really red and hurts a lot, especially when I'm around light. I'm really hoping that I'm just having really bad luck with my contacts (which I am currently not wearing) and that the doctor will tell me that I have nothing to worry about, to eat two cookies and call him in the morning.

I'm still having headaches,but I can manage.
A friend once told me one of her mottos is "What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger." So I'll live with that psychology

Hi JFS/Diana,
I'm feeling a lot better thank goodness.
I'm leaving on a cruise from next Sunday to the following Sunday so I'm really excited! I won't have 'Net access from the ship so both Prairie Dawn & I will take study breaks or something during that time (once I get myself enrolled in MC Dorms.I'll probably do that tonight or tomorrow.)

I went to the doctor yesterday and discovered I have Iritis (or possibly eyeritis). I thought the good Dr. was making it up at first, but it turns out, my contacts were restricting oxygen to my eyes and caused them to flare up (turning red, hurting in the light and hurting in general). Now I'm on steroid drops and hoping I can find contacts that will not cause this problem in the future.
