One think I do not understand it when they have pictures that are stills from scenes form the episode that are looking back from. She was there taking the pictures when the scenes were happening sense it appears to have been nobody. This confuses me.:stick_out_tongue:

But I love it when somebody is remember somethings back to something that never happened during the run of the show and the clip that they show was only made only for that episode in particular.

TMNT, both the 1980's and the current series had a clip show in the middle of the run.

The 1980's version was called "Blast from the Past"- not too original sounding a title, or such an original plot. It starts off with Shredder trying to steal a sacred burial urn of a great martial artist, and he wants to unlock the power within. But the power would only be revealed to the true leader of the Foot. And that person is Splinter. But something happens, and he loses his memory, and the turtles spend the rest of the episode recapping the first 5 episodes.

It's not a dull episode, though. At the end, Splinter shows that he's the true master of the Foot by demonstraiting the Cur Li manuver.

The 2K3 series one was called Reflections. And it basically happened after a major story arc where the turtles find out the (comic book accurate to a certain point) truth about their origin. Basically they retell all these various encounters with Shredder while hiding out in Casey Jones' family farm in North Hampton MA. Pretty dull, and they advertised the episode to be completely different.

The Dick Van Dyke Show only did one, and it was the "series finale". According to the DVD commentary, I believe Dick Van Dyke and Carl Reiner both consider "The Gunslinger" to be the last episode (according to the production order, it is), but the clip show just sorta wrapped the series up. And, if I remember right, the new scenes for the clip show were filmed the same night as the "Gunslinger" episode.

Full House did a clip show for their 100th episode, it's Michelle's birthday and they're waiting for the twins to be born and they look back on everything leading up to Michelle's fifth birthday or something like that. Saved By The Bell has done clip shows as well.
