I forgot about poor Prarie Dawn. Dos anyone else remember the one where she holds a Beauty Pageant on SS? That was a great one.

The writers didn't seem to think so. It was an internal thing with the show makers that got rid of the segment.

Now, I'm mixed about it. The first version of JTE, made out of several prefab segments that lead to random old clips was a terrible format, and howlingly obvious that it was trying to copy the Nick Jr. competition.

Then they changed the format to something less rigid, repetitive, and actually enjoyable. They gave the Two headed Monster a regular gig on the show. Bob even had a cameo. They shook up the format and had Ernie search for Big Bird, Big Bird seach for Bert. There's a lot of potential, but somehow it was pretty good, but took up space after a while.
