I think you should see it. It wasn't great, but it was good. You use up 90 minutes, but it's free, I had to pay for it. It's still a muppet movie, and I think that any muppet fan should see every muppet movie possible.

I say watch it but keep the remote handy. You will want to skip any scene that has a human actor in it. The muppet interaction was great but the humans were awful. Way too over the top. If it's free and it's the DVD go ahead. I'm not sure I would pay for it thoug, but convince someone to get it for you as a gift.

It's not good. Definatly bad, but you have to see it because it is a Muppet Movie.

(But I am not going to watch the IVMMFC anyway)

Hey, who is this, Dustin Hoffman in Rainman?

Btw, you gotta see Very Muppet Xmas...the cameos alone(Bossmen, Lew, Chef, Crazy HArry, Bean, Janice, Sam, etc) are worth seeing alone. Yeah KSY and VMC werent exactly stellar, but they are both worth seeing.

then again, I have no plans on seeing Muppet Xmas Carol...so...

I would say... watch it (did I surprise people).

While I didn't like it one bit (I haven't been able to sit still through it. It doesn't hold my attention. Maybe that's because I don't believe in myself), I'm glad that I watched just so I could make fun of it.

That comes from believing in myself.

(Care to take a guess at what I like to make fun of the most?)

How can you people refuse to see any Muppet project? I even watched Elmo In Grouchland. Totally hated it, but as a fan I will eventually buy it. Just seems unMuppetlike to not watch them. Cory - as a fan you are missing out on a lot by not seeing MCC. It is one of my least faves, but has enough good moments and beautiful photography to warrant multiple viewings. I just saw TNT's version of the Dicken's classic and it played so much like MCC. I know it comes from the same book, but the screen play matched so much, but the MCC version was much better and more imaginative. Gave me even more respect for the film. I would say it is the most unique of all the Muppet films (strangely enough because it's a remake). As a lover of film, I cannot understand anyone refusing to see any film - especially from a company you like. Doesn't make sense to me, but peoples is peoples.

Eh, I can't rully agree. I say you have the right to stay away from things you KNOW you won't like.

Example?

You will NEVER see me purchase any o' these cheez whiz "Disney sequels".

Now, I'm not sayin' I would never see KSY---but I'm afraid I'll end up like Jackie if I do. 90 minutes just GONE. :frown:

*this message was in no way intended to negatize anything about Cheez Whiz or Jackie*

At first I felt like I wasted 90 minutes of my life (and at one point I demanded those minutes back).

But this has been a learning experiece. Every chance I get, I make fun of KSY.

And that's so much fun (because it was so BAD!)...
