Ernie sees an apple with a bite eaten by someone. Meanwhile Sherlock finds clues to someone who had biten the apple, until Ernie claims to him that the bag has a hole in it.

Nobody actually ate the apple. It had a bite taken out of it, and it fell through the hole in that bag, which is why he saw it sitting there.
