How about the time when Kermit was talking about a rectangle, then during his lecture Cookie Monster appeared and beat the rectangle to pieces. You just gotta love that "icing on the cake" ending:

COOKIE MONSTER : It's a wreck, (he hits the rectangle one more time) and it's a tangle! HA, HA ,HA ,HA ,HA, HA!

I only half-understood Cookie's joking response when I first watched that segment as a girl; believe it or not, I didn't know what "wreck" meant.

I remember these from the 1970's and early 1980's. The one with the square and circle involve the square- or circle-shaped object being 'surrounded' by a border which 'hugs' against the edges of the featured object (OK sign, back of truck, etc.). I also somewhat remember the music - the one for the sqaure was more 'pumped-up' and 'energetic,' while the one for the circle was more 'somber-sounding' (at least I thought so).

As for the triangle one, I also remember it, albeit vaguely.
I was looking through some past posts and and when I originally inquired about this, I missed the fact that clip mentioned a triangle skit and I only recall the circle and square ones.

Anyone else recall all 3?

And did this one have a segement for a rectangle as well, because I vaguely remember it (or perhaps they flashed a rectangle with the other shapes at either the beginning or end)?
