>>Will they ever put the Muppets(not seasme street) on tv?<<

It all depends on what Disney wants to do, if that helps...

Anyway, I'm just confused about this news. It says "Toddler prgramming", so I wonder if that means it will show only more current SS's (s's's'..s'?). And then if history repeats itself, how long will it take when crap like Barney eclipses SS's run on that network?

And even still, isn't Baloney the Dinosaur on TV enough as it is? I mean, does anyone even care? I thought he was just a 90's throwback....

Sigh... I hate "wait and see news"... first the SS toy line in limbo... and then we have to wait until whenever to see what Disney will do with the Muppets... sigh...

Awe heck. Just put some classic stuff out on DVD!

DVD's dedicated to Sesame Street Unpaved.

Do it via a "Sesame Street Workshop" exclusive where you can only get them via their website through mail order only.

OR

Maybe like a "Time Life" deal.

Or how about "themed" classic Sesame Street shows/segments.

Get these puppies out.

Yeah a bit to late, but here is my $.02

Yes, I hope it will show the vintage sesame street shows.

I belive children should be exposed to the 'Pre-Elmo' Sesame Street to
see how it all began. The vintage neighbors of the Street, animation
and music.

The Street was MUCH better back in the 70s', better music and dazzling
colors.

And to have also The Electric Company and 3-2-1 Contact! That would
be a bonus!

I just hope Comcast does not botch it up like the did the G4 / Tech TV
merger. That was and still is the worst project they have created. UGH!

count your blessings!

Although I can see how one would be a little agitated over the discrepencies in these channels, but at least you GET these channels! I have cable, but no sattelite dish to receive either HIT or Noggin. We had Sesame Place (Canadian) which lasted all of what? a couple years? Granted, every now and then you'd be lucky to see the Pinball aniomation segment...
Quibble if you must but at least be happy that you have the opportunity to view the classics.

Do you think cable providers other than Comcast will have the channel? I am in SD and we have Cox Cable here....

Anything is possible, but it will take some time. More than likely, Comcast subscribers and satellite will get it early on, then non-Comcast digital cable stations may slowly follow.

Since you have Cox, I'm not sure. Heck, they never carried Noggin until AFTER Unpaved was gone...
