I remember two Ernie and Bert rag dolls by Knickerbocker that I had in 1976. I think different versions were made, but these were about 8 inches, had a flat face drawn on, and had removable clothes. The boxes showed a picture of Ernie, Bert, and Betty Lou rag dolls, but I never saw the Betty Lou one in stores and it may not have ever been released. I think these were the only dolls made in this particular Knickerbocker style.
